Rob Fia
CEO & Chairman of the Board

Mr. Fia has gained significant experience working with promising companies by delivering equity related financing products, largely focused on the natural resources sector, technology and healthcare(software & device related) and the alternative energy industries. He also helped found or co-found several new companies focused on technology, gold exploration and oil and gas in Africa, Canada, Chile and Colombia.

Mr. Fia has an extensive contact base in the investment community and the financial sector as well as knowledge of the TSX and TSXV listing process and guidelines and strong corporate governance principles.  Mr. Fia’s 17 years’ experience in the investment business has encompassed both equity research and corporate finance. Over the past 10 years Mr. Fia has developed a career of working with promising young technology, medical device, mining and oil & gas companies and advising corporate executives on business matters dealing with corporate finance, strategy, expansion, mergers and acquisitions, concept creation, private equity, corporate development, and corporate governance. Since starting in investment banking with Kingsdale Capital Markets Inc., Mr. Fia has moved to a senior-level investment banking position, which he currently maintains and has been involved in several multimillion dollar financings and advisory transactions in mining, oil and gas, technology, and healthcare. Mr. Fia began his career as a technology analyst with a Toronto based investment bank in 1999 where several of his buy calls were involved in M&A transactions. In 2002 Mr. Fia created his own Limited Market Dealer company involved in financing and advising high growth companies primarily in oil and gas mining, alternative energy and technology.

Mr. Fia received his B.Comm. (Honours) degree from the I.H. Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Mr. Fia was initially involved with The Jenex Corporation as an investor and now serves as CEO & Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Tak Wing Law
CFO

Mr. Tak Wing Law has over 20 years of experiences as a finance professional and business executive and has worked with various companies and professional firms in Canada, China and Hong Kong including Price Waterhouse, Law Society of Hong Kong etc.  

He is now the Director of Finance of Kingsdale Shareholder Services Inc., a transfer agent registered with US Securities Exchange Commission. Mr. Law has been involved in processing the transactions including merger and acquisition and plan of arrangement of publicly-traded companies. He also handles the corporate reporting and compliance including auditing, financial reporting, taxation and EDGAR filing. Before coming to Canada, he founded T W Law & Co. in 1996 specializing in corporate restructuring and bankruptcy and had been appointed as trustee of bankruptcy by the Court of First Instance of the High Court of Hong Kong.

He has a Master of Arts from University of Oklahoma, U.S and Postgraduate Diplomas from Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Mr. Law is a Certified General Accountant, Chartered Accountant in England and Wales, a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong. He is also an associate member of Chartered Secretary Canada.
